IEEE-VBIT SB bagged the “Vibrant Student Branch Award” at SSC '10, competing with seven other branches short-listed for the competition, which was organised by the IEEE HYD section.

The constitution of IEEE-VBIT SB for the year 2012 was announced on 3 April 2012, by following the regular procedure with verification of nominations and by elections obtained from all the interested members.
